Dopo mesi di speculazione sul fatto che la star fosse coinvolta nella nota marca, la House of Dior ha rilasciato oggi una dichiarazione ufficiale che conferma la campagna.
Si legge: “La House of Dior è lieta di annunciare che l’attore Robert Pattinson sarà la nuova faccia della fraganza di Dior Homme”.
La dichiarazione è servita anche ad elogiare l’affermata carriera di Robert riguardo ai suoi film, dicendo: “Dal suo primo ruolo importante nel 2005 nel quarto film di Harry Potter, la star del film Robert Pattinson è più recentemente conosciuto attraverso il suo ruolo nell’enorme successo al botteghino, la saga di Twilight”.
“Ha poi dimostrato le sue abilità recitative scegliendo film come Remember Me di Allen Coulter, Water for Elephants di Francis Lawrence, dove ha recitato assieme a Reese Witherspoon, o con il suo ruolo in Bel Ami, il famoso personaggio di Mapassant”.
“Come ultimo tributo al suo talento, David Cronenberg lo ha scelto nel suo ultimo film, Cosmopolis, adattamento del libro di Don De Lillo. Un impressionante ruolo come ragazzo d’oro premiato al Festival di Cannes nel 2012”.
“Recentemente ha finito di girare il film del regista David Michod, The Rover in Australia con Guy Pearce e presto sarà di nuovo sul set per David Cronenberg nel film Maps to the Stars. Poi girerà Hold on to me, diretto da James Marsh con Carey Mulligan”.
La prima parte resa pubblica dalla casa di moda mostra Robert notevolmente splendido in un primo piano, sbarbato e con i suoi occhi azzurri. Indossa una maglia rossa a quadri e si mostra perfettamente curato.

Dior Homme aggiunge: “Siamo felici di annunciare che lui si unirà al circolo privilegiato delle faccie di Dior. Come fotografo sarà l’artista Nan Goldin e diretto dal regista francese Romain Gavras, questa nuova campagna di Dior Homme sarà resa pubblica esclusivamente in Europa (eccetto la Gran Bretagna) e in Asia (eccetto Cina e Giappone)”. After months of speculation about the star's rumoured partnership with the brand, the House of Dior has released an official statement today confirming the campaign.
They said: 'The House of Dior is delighted to announce that actor Robert Pattinson is to be the new face of Dior Homme fragrance.'

'He has since proven the scope of his acting talents by choosing films as varied as Remember Me by Allen Coulter, Water for Elephants by Francis Lawrence, in which he starred alongside Reese Witherspoon, or with his role as Bel-Ami, the famous Maupassant character.
